It will be an unsettled weekend across most of Ontario with strong winds expected for southern Ontario and heavy rain for northeastern areas of the province.
Strong winds are expected for southwestern Ontario and western portions of the Greater Golden Horseshoe, especially for areas near Lake Huron and Lake Erie. Gusts between 70 and 90 km/h are expected on Sunday morning and afternoon. Broken tree branches and downed trees and power outages are likely.
Across portions of northeastern Ontario, significant rainfall is expected, with rainfall amounts of 40 to 70 mm likely. This rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas.
