Heavy rain brings up to 43 mm to parts of Manitoba

An approaching low-pressure system brought rain and gusty winds to southern Manitoba on Monday, with some areas receiving more than 40 mm of rain.
Environment Canada reports that, as of 5 a.m. Tuesday, the highest rainfall total was recorded at Drifting River with 43 mm.
Other reported totals include:

Sinclair: 38 mm
Brandon: 36 mm
Dauphin: 33 mm
Wasagaming: 28 mm
Gimli: 27 mm
Melita: 27 mm
McCreary: 27 mm
Selkirk: 25 mm
Lac Du Bonnet: 24 mm
Winnipeg: 23 mm
Fisher Branch: 19 mm
Stonewall: 18 mm
Portage-La-Prairie: 18 mm
Berens River: 17 mm
Steinbach: 13 mm
Emerson: 12 mm
Sprague: 11 mm
