Heavy Rain Expected Across NE Ontario #ONwx

An area of low pressure will stall over northeastern Ontario today. As a result, significant rainfall is expected.

The rain will continue through Wednesday and areas from eastern Lake Superior northeast to Chapleau which will receive 40 to 60 mm of rain.

Locally higher amounts are possible.

Then areas northeast to the Quebec border will receive 30 to 50 mm by Wednesday morning.

The good news is that today is likely the last day of hot weather, temperatures will return to seasonal on Wednesday and the humidity will improve.
