Heavy Rain Expected for Parts of Atlantic Canada

An area of low pressure will approach Atlantic Canada from the south and arrive in the area Monday and linger through Wednesday.

At this point, we anticipate heavy rain for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

The rain begins on Monday in Nova Scotia.

Some areas of central Nova Scotia could see over 50 mm of rain.

The rain begins on Tuesday in Newfoundland.

In Newfoundland, the Avalon Peninsula could end up seeing 30 mm of rain.
