Heavy rain falls across western Quebec

A frontal system passed through Quebec on Tuesday and Wednesday bringing significant rainfall to western sections of the province.

Some areas received nearly 100 mm of rain.

Rainfall totals:

• Val D'or: 50.6 mm

• Capitachouane (Abitibi): 80.2 mm

• Dumoine Nord (Témiscamingue): 54.8 mm

• Grand Lac Victoria (Vérendrye): 84.0 mm

• Reservoir Dozois (Vérendrye): 39.0 mm

• Parent Region: 60-80 mm

• La Tuque: 30.5 mm
