There is a developing area of low pressure that will bring rain to Atlantic Canada beginning on Friday night.
The low is producing storm-force winds.
This low is expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and rough surf to portions of the mid-Atlantic and northeastern United States coasts and then Atlantic Canada through the end of this week.
The National Hurricane Center only gives the low a 20 percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next five days.
