Heavy rain in store across eastern Ontario and southern Quebec

Heavy rain is expected for parts of eastern Ontario and southern Quebec.


Rain will start over eastern Ontario late on Wednesday. Amounts of 30 to 50 mm are possible from late Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.


On Wednesday evening and Thursday, rain is expected for the Outaouais and Laurentians regions of Quebec. 20 to 40 millimetres of rain is possible.


On Thursday and Friday, 40 to 60 millimetres of rain is possible for Quebec City and Montmagny, and rainfall amounts of 60 to 100 millimetres could fall for Charlevoix, Tadoussac and Les Escoumins regions.
