Heavy rain moves through southern Ontario

On Monday night and Tuesday a band of heavy rain moved through southern Ontario. Some locations received between 50 and 60 mm of rain.


Rainfall totals:

  • Dresden 60 mm

  • Mount Brydges 59 mm

  • Goderich 57 mm

  • Appin 54 mm

  • Parry sound 53 mm

  • Desboro 51 mm

  • Glencoe 50 mm

This system was the first of a series of lows that will pass through or near southern Ontario bringing showers to many areas on Thursday and again on the weekend but lesser rainfall amounts are anticipated.
