Heavy rain possible in southwestern Ontario on Friday

An area of low pressure currently located over Missouri will pass well south of southern Ontario on Friday but the outer bands of precipitation could bring some rain to portions of southwestern Ontario.

Some areas of southwestern Ontario, particularly along the northwestern shore of Lake Erie could see some heavy rain.

By Saturday morning, 30 to 50 mm of rainfall is possible. The heavy rain may lead to some localized flooding.

Winds will be gusty as well with gusts to 60 km/h possible on Friday and Friday night.
