Heavy rain to impact morning commute across eastern, central, and southwestern Ontario

Heavy rain is continuing this morning in eastern, central, and southwestern Ontario.

This morning through this afternoon, parts of northeastern and central Ontario will see additional rain with amounts of 20 to 30 mm possible.

Southwestern and central Ontario, as well as eastern Manitoulin Island, will also see rain into this afternoon with another 10 to 20 mm possible.

Eastern Ontario will receive another 10 to 20 mm through this afternoon.

With the ground already saturated, some localized flooding could occur.

More rain is possible on Tuesday.
