A moisture-laden area of low pressure is moving across southern Ontario and southern Quebec today and Tuesday.

For southern Ontario and southern Quebec, rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are expected.

Some areas such as Parry Sound and Kingston to Smith Falls in Ontario and north of Montreal to the Quebec City area in Quebec, could see rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 mm.

From Tuesday to Wednesday night, the heavy rain will move into the Maritimes. Some areas could see up to 50 mm of rain. Adding to the already saturated ground.
