Heavy Snow Expected in B.C. Interior #BCstorm

It is going to be a snowy weekend for most of the southern BC Interior.

There are several winter storm warnings, snowfall warnings, and special weather statements in effect.

20 to 30 cm of snow is expected for Rogers Pass and Kootenay Pass.

The Coquihalla Hope to Merritt segment may see 30 to 40 cm of snow.

Rain is expected at lower elevations.

Further to the north in the Highway 97 - Pine Pass area, 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected today. That snow also extends into Grande Prairie - Beaverlodge - Valleyview in Alberta.
