Heavy snow in eastern Ontario prompts road closures & snowfall totals

Portions of eastern Ontario received heavy snow on Friday as a low pushed northeast along Lake Ontario. There were road closures and reports of reduced visibility to near zero at times.

While most of southern Ontario received snow, eastern Ontario received the most.

• Ottawa Airport 17 cm

• Brockville 17 cm

• Kemptville 15 cm

• Gatineau Airport 13 cm

• Wiarton Airport 11 cm

• Cornwall 23 cm

• Winchester 17 to 20 cm

• Kemptville 17 cm

• Ingelside 15 cm

• Kingston 13 to 15 cm

• Orleans 14 cm

• Rocklyn 14 cm
