Highway Damaged After Nevada Earthquake

NHP Southern Command

There was a 6.5 magnitude earthquake 31.8 km southeast of Mina, Nevada on Friday morning.

The earthquake was at a depth of 2.8 km.

There was some damage outside Tonopah on a portion of US95 at Mile Marker 98 in Esmerelda County.

As a result, US 95 was closed in both directions.

There were no reports of any injuries.
