Influenza cases slightly increase

Influenza cases across Canada remained similar, or slightly increased, compared to the previous week.

There were a total of 4,223 laboratory detections. 3,863 were influenza A and 360 were influenza B.

Cases are elevated in the Atlantic Provinces, Ontario, and British Columbia.

Of all the outbreaks this season, over half have been in long term care homes.
