It was a wet weekend in Southern Ontario


On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday a low pressure system delivered heavy rain and thunderstorms to Southern Ontario and The National Capital Region.


Rainfall amounts were generally between 30 and 50 mm. There were some isolated higher amounts.

  • Ingersoll: 33.3 mm

  • Gores Landing: 33.3 mm

  • Chatham: 32.8 mm

  • Wheatley: 32.0 mm

  • Caledonia: 31.5 mm

  • Leamington: 31.0 mm

  • Jordan: 31.0 mm

  • Morpeth: 30.7 mm

  • Osgoode: 53.1 mm

  • Ottawa International Airport: 50 mm

  • Ottawa Climate Station: 43 mm

  • Shallow Lake: 36.8 mm

  • Metcalfe: 36.1 mm

  • Toledo: 32.8 mm

  • Chatsworth: 31.5 mm
