In the night sky this month, observers can see the Moon above Leo's blue star and just below Mars during the first few days of June.


From June 12 to 30, Mercury will be at its brightest point of the year.


On the 29, Mars will be above the Moon.


The Summer Solstice arrives on June 20 at 10:42 p.m.
