Kennedy Family Members Go Missing in Chesapeake Bay

Two members of the Kennedy family have gone missing.

The granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy and her young son were in a canoe on Chesapeake Bay, located in Maryland and Virginia.

At the time the winds gusted to 55 km/h.

The two disappeared on Thursday afternoon.

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean and her son, Gideon Joseph Kennedy McKean.

Searchers found an overturned canoe matching the one that went missing.
