Lake-effect snow this morning from Belleville to Prescott

Areas northeast of Lake Ontario will see a line of lake-effect snow this morning from the Highway 401 corridor from east of Belleville to the Prescott area. Precipitation is expected to change over to rain showers in the afternoon. Snowfall amoutns of 5 to 10 cm are possible.

Areas northeast of Lake Erie will see strong southwesterly winds early this morning, with gusts near 70 km/h possible. Winds will ease through the day.
