Large earthquake rocks Leeward Islands, small tsunami waves possible

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has occurred in the Leeward Islands.
The earthquake occurred at 10:50 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 30 km. The epicentre was 70.1 km east-southeast of Codrington, Antigua and Barbuda.
The NWS Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, said that while there is no significant tsunami threat, there is a very small possibility of tsunami waves along coasts nearest to the epicentre.
Earthquakes are not common in the area.
