To coincide with our 16th anniversary, which was on March 23, we are making some big changes to serve you better.
It all starts with our new logo. It’s modern and sleek and designed to be recognizable. The sun and cloud represent our commitment to weather excellence, while the blue and green represent Earth and our global weather coverage. The green in particular represents our commitment to being as environmentally friendly as possible.
Our maps will also receive minimal updates with a new header and logo.
We’re also in the process of adding airports and larger neighbourhoods to our forecast database, giving you even more locations to choose from.
We’re also introducing a new forecast confidence system to tell you how certain our forecast is. It will range from low to medium to high. It allows anyone to quickly determine the certainty in the forecast.
There is also a new impact scale ranging from minor to moderate to major, so you can know how much of an impact a storm will have on you.
There will also be an increase in forecast videos, and we’ve redesigned the menu so you can get the information you need quickly.
Most weather sites will tell you the weather; we will tell you how it impacts you.
