Lightning Strikes Gas Line in SW Ontario

Sixty homes were evacuated over safety concerns in Tillsonburg, Ontario on Sunday morning.


Lightning struck a gas line according to the OPP.


The strike resulted in a large quantity of natural gas was released into several homes and the underground sewer.


There was a concern about the high concentration of gas.


Residents have since been allowed to return to their homes.
