Los Angeles has declared a "major emergency" due to a wildfire.

100,000 people in 23,000 homes have been forced to evacuate.

Due to the Saddleridge Fire two freeways have been closed.

The fire broke out on the evening of 10 October, and spread rapidly after its ignition, burning over 7500 acres of land.

Some mobile homes have been destroyed and two people have died. There have also been several power outages.
