Low Bringing Rain to Eastern Canada

An area of low pressure over Lake Superior will bring rain to most of Eastern Canada over the next few days.

Across Southern Ontario, rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm are possible today. Eastern and Central Ontario will see 5 to 15 mm and Northeastern Ontario will see 5 to 15 mm today.

In Southern Quebec, areas south of the St. Lawrence River will see about 20 to 25 mm with isolated amounts of 30 mm.

From there the low will move to the Maritimes on Thursday and to Newfoundland on Thursday night into Friday.

Some areas of Atlantic Canada could also see up to 30 mm of rain.
