An area of low pressure that is developing over Alberta with integrate with another low over Montana tonight and will bring rain, snow, and strong winds to southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba on tonight to Tuesday.

Rain will start tonight across southeastern Saskatchewan and will reach southwestern Manitoba by Sunday.

The heaviest rain is expected to be on the northwestern flank. Areas such as Regina to Swan Lake will see heavy rain. In northern areas of Manitoba, heavy rain is expected on Monday and Tuesday, although by Sunday afternoon. These areas could see 40 to 60 mm of rain; some guidance suggests a possibility of snow.

Strong winds are also expected across the region with gusts between 60 and 80 km/h.
