Major power outage in downtown Toronto

Many services are being impacted in downtown Toronto as a major power outage has occurred.

Toronto Hydro said on Thursday afternoon that, "we’re currently experiencing a large outage in downtown Toronto."

The cause of the outage is unknown.

There are many traffic lights not functioning and public transit is experiencing delays.

There is no word on when power will be restored.
