A winter storm is expected to impact central, eastern, and northeastern Ontario and southern Quebec on Wednesday and Thursday.
Eastern areas may see an expended period of freezing rain with over 10 mm possible. For central and northeastern areas, 10 to 20 cm of snow is likely.
Areas such as Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Charlevoix, Montmagny, the North Shore, the Lower St. Lawrence and the Gaspé Peninsula could see 20 to 40 cm of snow and winds gusting to 70 km/h.
This storm will make travel difficult and transportation delays and cancellations are likely.
