Messy mix to impact southwestern, central and eastern Ontario
Sunday into Monday an area of low pressure will track across the Great Lakes and will bring snow, rain, and ice to parts of southwestern, central and eastern Ontario.
Snow is expected to begin Sunday morning over southwestern Ontario and will then track eastwards and reach eastern Ontario by Sunday afternoon or evening.
Total snowfall amounts are expected to be in the 5 to 10 cm range at this stage. An area of freezing rain is possible for parts of eastern Ontario, including areas along the St. Lawrence River.
This freezing rain could be mixed with rain, ice pellets and snow. The exact track of this low pressure system is still uncertain and slight changes could lead to significant changes in the rain, snow, ice pellets and freezing rain areas.
