Mix of Winter Weather Across Ontario and Quebec

A strong area of low pressure is impacting Ontario and is heading toward Quebec.
Heavy snow and strong wind are expected over northern Ontario. Reduced visibility is expected. Some areas could see an additional 30 centimetres of snow, particularly near James Bay.
From Lake Superior to Hudson Bay, and east towards the Quebec border, snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm is likely.
Rainfall amounts of 10-15 mm are expected for eastern Ontario.
Strong winds are expected east of Lake Superior and Georgian Bay towards Algonquin Park. Strong winds are also expected along the northern shores of Lake Ontario.
Most of southern Quebec will see a rain and snow mix. Mostly rain is expected in southwestern Quebec, including Montréal. 25 to 40 millimetres are expected over these areas today.
Mostly snow is expected along the Gaspé Peninsula. 25 to 50 centimetres of snow are expected combined with strong winds and blowing snow.
For Quebec City and surrounding areas, rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 millimetres are expected over these areas today. Quebec City will also receive between 10 and 15 centimetres of snow.
