Mom Charged After Child Left in Car in Ontario

A 32-year-old mother in Oshawa, Ontario has been charged for leaving her child in a car for 45 minutes.

At the time the temperatures were at 26 degrees.

Durham Regional Police arrived and broke the car windows to retrieve the child.

The baby was transported to the hospital and is said to be doing well.

Temperatures reach dangerously hot levels in cars in summer months that can kill a child or pet.
