More Rain & Snow Expected in Atlantic Canada Beginning Tonight

A low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the south and spread rain and snow through the Maritimes beginning on Sunday night, then rain to Newfoundland and snow to Labrador on Monday.

In the Maritimes, the area likely to see snow will be western New Brunswick. By Monday morning up to 20 cm of snow is expected. The remainder of New Brunswick will see about 2 to 5 cm of snow.

Across the remainder of the Maritimes and Newfoundland generally, 15 to 25 mm of rain is expected.

Some parts of Labrador will see about 10 to 15 cm of snow.
