More Snow & Blowing Snow Expected in Eastern & Northeastern Newfoundland #nlwx

The low that brought all the snow to eastern Newfoundland is not done yet.

Another shot of snow from the same system is expected today.

By Boxing Day night, another 5 to 10 centimetres is expected for the northern Avalon and another 10 to 15 cm for Gander and northeastern sections of the Island.

There will also be winds gusting to about 80 km/h resulting in blowing snow.

Be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions.

Also, wave heights of 5 to 7 metres are expected to hit the northeast and east coast.

Some coastal flooding is possible. Do not go near the water, a disproportionately large wave may appear without warning.
