More snow squalls expected Wednesday across southern Ontario

On Wednesday portions of southwestern Ontario to the southeast of Lake Huron and areas east of Lake Huron and south of Georgian Bay will see more snow squalls.

Snow squalls are expected to intensify on Wednesday morning, particularly in regions along the southern shore near Grand Bend. The snow squalls will cause whiteouts and 15 to 25 cm could accumulate.

Lake effect snow off Lake Huron is expected to increase in coverage and also develop off Georgian Bay on Wednesday morning. Up to 15 cm of snow is possible.

The snow squalls will weaken on Wednesday night.
