A massive dome of hot air dominates southern and central Canada. Temperatures across the southern Prairies, Ontario, and Quebec are widely in the 20°C to 30°C range, with southern pockets pushing into the 30°C to 40°C bracket near the US border.

Seasonal warmth extends into the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and parts of Nunavut, with temperatures ranging between 10°C and 20°C.

Poor air quality due to wildfires continues across Ontario and Manitoba.

Thunderstorms are possible across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba extending eastward across Ontario and portions of Quebec. A secondary pocket of thunderstorm potential is active near the Northwest Territories and Nunavut border.

Widespread rain showers stretch from British Columbia and the Yukon all the way east through Hudson Bay, Quebec, and into Atlantic Canada.
