Nearly 100 mm of Rain Falls Across Alberta #ABwx



A strong area of low pressure delivered heavy rain to Alberta most of this week.


There were rainfall warnings in effect, and while the warnings have since ended, there is a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon nor central and northern sections of the province, which may deliver more rainfall.


Here is a summary of the total rainfall for 60 hours:

  • Hendrickson Creek: 88 mm

  • Nordegg: 76 mm

  • Ardenville: 70 mm

  • Raymond: 68 mm

  • Violet Grove: 67 mm

  • Lethbridge: 59 mm

  • Edson: 56 mm

  • Crestomere: 55 mm

  • Pincher Creek: 54 mm

  • Stettler: 53 mm

  • Del Bonita: 54 mm

  • Camrose: 51 mm

  • Edmonton Metro: 43-49 mm

  • Jasper: 47 mm

  • Beaverlodge: 43 mm
