Nearly 80 mm of rain expected across parts of Ontario and Quebec

Between now and Tuesday some areas of Ontario and Quebec could see nearly 80 mm of rain.

Portions of northeastern Ontario and southwestern Quebec will see heavy rain over the next several days.

This rain will bring the threat of localized flooding.

It's not only rain on the menu but snow too. A large swath of northeastern Ontario will see snow on Monday. It remains to be seen how much snow will accumulate due to rain and warmer ground.

On Sunday and Monday areas along the shore of James Bay will see strong winds with gusts between 70 and 90 km/h expected.
