Newfoundland and Labrador received a soaking of rain over the weekend.


Some areas almost received 100 mm, that lead to a road being washed out in Labrador.


Eastern Labrador and western Newfoundland received the most rain.


Here are the rainfall totals from Environment and Climate Change Canada:

  • Kippens: 80.8 mm

  • Port aux Basques: 64.7 mm

  • St. Alban's 63.0 mm

  • Rocky Harbour: 58.4 mm

  • La Scie: 57.7 mm

  • Corner Brook: 57.4 mm

  • Wreckhouse: 54.1 mm

  • Millertown: 52.0 mm

  • Cormack: 51.5 mm

  • Burgeo: 51.3 mm

  • St. Anthony: 46.9 mm

  • Daniel's Harbour: 45.9 mm

  • Deer Lake: 43.6mm

  • Cartwright: 99.6 mm

  • Mary's Harbour: 80.9 mm

  • L'Anse au Loup: 71.6 mm

  • Makkovik: 54 mm

  • Happy Valley-Goose Bay: 49.6 mm

  • Hopedale: 42 mm

  • Blanc Sablon: 41.6 mm
