A nor'easter will move into Atlantic Canada on Friday and Saturday and will bring rain, flurries, and strong winds to the region. It will impact the Maritimes on Friday and Newfoundland on Saturday.
Rainfall amounts across New Brunswick will range between 15 and 30 mm, while some areas of Nova Scotia will see 25 to 50 mm of rain. 20 to 30 mm is possible over Prince Edward Island, while Newfoundland will receive between 5 and 15 mm.
Winds across the Maritimes will gust between 60 and 80 km/h, except 100 km/h from Margaree Harbour to Bay St. Lawrence in Nova Scotia from Friday afternoon and evening. In Newfoundland, winds will be less intense with gusts from 40 to 60 km/h except 100 km/h in the Wreckhouse area from midnight Friday night until early Saturday morning.
