Northern Ontario in for an unsettled couple of days



The first half of the week will be quite snowy for portions of northwestern and northeastern Ontario and areas north of Lake Superior.


A Colorado low began affecting northwestern Ontario last night. Snow will continue today with 15 to 25 cm of accumulation likely by tonight.


On Tuesday, northwestern and far northeastern Ontario will see about 10 to 20 cm of snow except for areas west of Thunder Bay towards Armstrong where higher amounts are possible. Areas north of Lake Superior will see snow and freezing rain.


On Wednesday, far northern Ontario will see about 10 to 20 cm.
