Nova Scotia and New Brunswick rainfall totals

Nova Scotia and portions of New Brunswick received a healthy dose of rain from a low containing tropical moisture on Saturday.

• Halifax Windsor Park: 81.6 mm

• Halifax Kootenay 70.4 mm

• Kejimkujik National Park: 81.3 mm

• Western Head: 69.3 mm

• Shearwater: 68.4 mm

• Baccaro Point: 65.3 mm

• Kentville: 64.3 mm

• Osborne Head: 59 mm

Below is a list of rainfall totals in New Brunswick

• Kouchibouguac: 54.7 mm

• Garnett Settlement: 50.9 mm

• Bas Caraquet: 53.0 mm

• Mechanic Settlement: 43.1 mm

Some areas of Nova Scotia also saw strong winds. Grand Etang recorded a gust of 100 km/h, there was a gust of 89 km/h in Hart Island, and 87 km/h in Port Hawkesbury.
