One Death Due to Flooding in Fort McMurray

There has been one death related to the flooding in Fort McMurray.

During a news conference on Wednesday, Mayor Don Scott confirmed that one person had died.

There were no further details on how the individual died, only that it was "water-related".

The person was killed near Fort McKay.

So far the flooding has forced thousands from their home. The flooding began on Sunday.
