Orionids meteor shower peaks tonight

The Orionids meteor shower, associated with Halley's Comet, peaks tonight.

The Orionids meteor shower normally peaks around October 21 and 22. The meteors make atmospheric entry at about 66 km/s.

Based on weather conditions meteors may be visible in the southeast sky after midnight. You will have a better chance of seeing meteors if no moon is present and you are away from cities.
