There will be a partial solar eclipse on Sunday. Whether or not you can see it depends on if you're in the right place.

The partial solar eclipse will be visible across much of Oceania and Antarctica, with up to 80 percent coverage being visible at the southernmost point of New Zealand on Monday morning local time.

A solar eclipse takes place when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. It either totally or partly obscures the Sun. A partial solar eclipse occurs in the polar regions of the Earth when the center of the Moon's shadow misses the Earth.
