Plane Crashes in Labrador

A plane had crashed in northern Labrador.


The plane crashed in Mistastin Lake.


The de Havilland DHC-2 floatplane was carrying seven people.


A Hercules was dispatched from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax and located the crash site this morning.


There is no word on the fate of the people on the plane.


The Transport Safety Board is launching an investigation.


We will provide more information as it becomes available.
