Plane crashes in Labrador

Two people have been transported to the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay with serious injuries after a small plane crashed in Happy Valley-Goose Bay this morning.

Both individuals were from out of the country and were the lone occupants of the PA-46 Malibu non-commercial aircraft.

The plane crashed around 10:30 am this morning near the airport in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

RCMP and the Canadian Armed Forces are working to secure the crash site. The Transportation Safety Board is engaged and the investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
