It's no secret that China has some of the worst air pollution in the world.
High levels of air pollution in China's cities have caused to 350,000-400,000 premature deaths.
China has made some improvements in environmental protection during recent years.
According to the World Bank, 'China is one of a few countries in the world that have been rapidly increasing its forest cover.
A new study reports that the pollution is so bad that the rays from the sun cannot reach solar panels. This has caused a decrease in solar electricity rates by about 15%.
Ironically, the solar panels were installed to help reduce smog.
