Provincial Government Monitoring High Water Levels in Humber River

The Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment is monitoring water levels in the Humber River affecting the communities of Deer Lake, Pasadena and Steady Brook.

Derrick Bragg, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, has been in contact with mayors in the region to discuss the situation.

The department’s Water Resources Management Division and Emergency Services Division are asking residents of those areas to exercise caution during this time.
