Quite A Bit of Snow For Southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan


Some parts of southern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan are in quite a bit of snow.


A system has developed that will bring snow and blowing snow that will linger through Saturday.


By Saturday evening, total snowfall accumulations may approach 40 cm, especially over regions in southwestern Alberta.


There are winter storm warnings in effect for

Brooks - Strathmore - Vulcan

Cardston - Fort Macleod - Magrath

Crowsnest Pass - Pincher Creek - Waterton Lakes Nat. Park

Cypress Hills Provincial Park - Foremost

Kananaskis - Canmore

Lethbridge - Taber - Milk River

Medicine Hat - Bow Island - Suffield

Okotoks - High River - Claresholm

Shaunavon - Maple Creek - Val Marie - Cypress Hills


Snowfall warnings are in effect for:

Airdrie - Cochrane - Olds - Sundre

City of Calgary

Nordegg - Forestry Trunk Road Highway 734


There is a winter storm watch for:

Leader - Gull Lake
