Rain and Snow Expected Across Northeastern Ontario

A mix of rain and snow is expected across northern Ontario beginning tomorrow.

On Wednesday, a low pressure system will bring rain to areas near Lake Superior and parts of northeastern Ontario.

Heavy rain is expected in the area, anywhere from 30 to 50 mm is expected.

On Thursday, the rain will continue for some areas, in northeastern Ontario total accumulation of 40 mm is possible.

Areas north of Timmins such as Kapuskasing may see snow. Winds will also be gusty resulting in blowing snow.

The rain/snow line may be near Highway 11.
