Rain will be the order of the day for the Elliot Lake area to the Sudbury region. Rainfall amounts of 20 to 35 millimetres are expected. There is also a risk of thunderstorms.
Parts of northeastern Ontario will see 5 to 10 centimetres of snow, particularly for the Wawa area through Chapleau to Timmins and along the Highway 101 corridor east of Timmins.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible and driving could be impacted by the snow and rain.
